About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Head of Drug Safety & Pharmacovigilance to join their team. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Development Leadership Team, responsible for leading the strategic direction of safety and pharmacovigilance in alignment with the company's mission. This role involves collaborating with senior executives to integrate safety considerations into business strategies and clinical development plans, as well as managing the patient safety and pharmacovigilance function to ensure the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance. The VP will also be accountable for the development and implementation of a comprehensive drug safety and pharmacovigilance strategy, providing expert guidance, and shaping the global function to meet organizational needs. Applicants must have a Medical Doctor (MD/MBBS/DO) degree, significant global drug safety and pharmacovigilance experience, and a proven track record in people leadership. The role requires the ability to influence and inspire others, build strong relationships, and drive consensus across diverse stakeholders. Direct experience in interacting with regulatory authorities and a clear vision for drug safety and PV that aligns with the company's long-term goals are essential. The ideal candidate will have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to the values of the company, including being adventurous, dedicated to the mission, and a strong team player.
