The
Strength and Conditioning Coach, Summer will be responsible for development and implementation of physical conditioning training programs for athletes in all sports, all ages, and all levels.
Position Responsibilities - Delivery of strength and power training; speed, agility, movement sessions; and regeneration
- Programming, sport liaison and observation of athletes, tracking and reporting
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Bachelor's degree in kinesiology, health, physical education, or related field
- Previous experience as a performance specialist in strength and conditioning
- High energy, charismatic training approach with the ability to interface with a variety of audiences
- Experience motivating, inspiring and training middle and high school student athletes
- Experience with both small and large group training and individual training
- Proficiency in writing training programs for athletes of all ages in a variety of sports.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with colleagues, sport coaches, and athletes
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects and ability to work collaboratively
- Excellent presentation skills and written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills - Pursuing or have a Master's degree in kinesiology, health, physical education or related field
- Bilingual
- CSCS certification or equivalent
- Experience playing, coaching or managing
Physical Demands and Work Environment - Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs.
- Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.
- Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
- Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
