Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our medical practice. This role is essential in ensuring that our clinic runs smoothly and efficiently while providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare management, practice management, and familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Nextech.

Duties

  • Manage the overall operations of the medical office, including staff supervision and workflow optimization.
  • Oversee human resources functions, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations of office staff.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including utilization management practices.
  • Coordinate patient scheduling, billing, and insurance verification processes to enhance patient experience.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage clinic systems to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Maintain and oversee website and social media content
  • Oversee online practice reviews using software such as MDidentity
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures to enhance productivity and service delivery.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of practice management principles and healthcare operations.
  • Proficient in Nextech or similar electronic health record systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in human resources management.
  • Familiarity with utilization management processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and healthcare providers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a focus on patient care excellence.

Qualifications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
