Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocations, and procurement strategies
- Coordinate and oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to project schedules and specifications
- Evaluate and select contractors and subcontractors based on qualifications, experience, and cost-effectiveness
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on project status to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and legal requirements prioritizing a secure working environment
- Manage construction project documentation, contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders
- Conduct regular meetings to facilitate communication, addressing challenges to meet project objectives
- Provide regular updates and reports on project status, including milestones, budget updates, and significant developments or risks
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with local building codes
- Carry out thorough project evaluations and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures
- Provide leadership and guidance to the project team to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment
Qualifications
- 3-10 years of experience managing projects, ideally within the electrical construction sector.
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering is required.
- Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license is advantageous.
- Completion of OSHA 30-hour and CPR training is highly regarded.
- Previous experience working in data center environments is beneficial
