POSITION: Writer

LOCATION: New York, NY
JOB TYPE: Full Time / Exempt

SALARY: 90K - 110K

The Lede Company is actively seeking a talented and detail-oriented Writer to join the New York Office to support our Brand and Strategic Communications divisions. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop high-quality written materials such as press releases, fact sheets, speeches, bios, strategic plans, award submissions, case studies, and other communication collateral for the Brand and Strategic Communications teams.
• Conduct thorough internal and external research to gather relevant information, ensuring accuracy and depth in all written materials.
• Ensure all written content is clear, compelling, and consistent with the client's voice and messaging guidelines.
• Manage multiple writing projects across a multitude of clients simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years experience in communications, marketing, business development, public relations, and/or journalism.
• Excellent written communication skills with a proven ability to create strategic written materials.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, priorities, and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Resourceful and ability to gather information from a variety of sources.
• Flexibility to work effectively both with teams and independently.
• A strong portfolio and demonstrated success in writing materials and strategic communication plans.
• Experience in a marketing communications agency or similar environment.
