Position: Welder

Job Overview:
The Welder is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining welding machines to fabricate metal parts and components according to product specifications. This role requires proficiency in welding techniques, quality inspection, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The welder will also verify product quality using measurement tools and collaborate with the team to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, adjust, and operate welding machines.
• Weld and fabricate parts based on blueprints and work instructions.
• Inspect finished parts for quality using measuring devices (micrometers, gauges, etc.).
• Rotate to different workstations as required by production needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Operate additional equipment such as angle grinders, band saws, and drill presses.
• Follow safety protocols and report issues to supervisors.
• Lift and move up to 50lbs regularly and stand for extended periods (10-12 hours).
• Ensure welds meet quality standards and meet production schedules.
• Document any issues and collaborate with the team to resolve them.

Preferred Skills:

• MIG welding experience.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous welding experience preferred.
