Pay: 20-22 Location: Urbana Details: Understand and apply standard welding techniques: Perform welding duties on tubular and angle machine frames Proficient at aluminum and/or steel. GMAW, SMAW, FCAW, GTAW (Steel) in flat, horizontal and vertical positions, GMAW, GTAW (aluminum) Weld, grind and finish sheet metal parts for finishing. Use drawings, sketches, blueprints and shop equipment to complete all phases of the product. Basic Machining skills. Ability to use standard tools-tape measure, levels, squares, power tools Able to operate shop equipment-saws, grinders, drill press, milling machine Ability to operate acetylene torches Ability to read drawings and blueprints. Must be able to pass a pre-employment weld test.
