SUMMARY
The Foreman is responsible for leading, directing, and controlling the work of the project to ensure quality work is completed to customer satisfaction. Ensures the construction and/or maintenance crew is at the designated location at the scheduled time, and productivity is maintained for all construction/Maintenance functions. This working position may require working in all types of inclement and/or extreme weather conditions.

JOB TASKS

• Must always comply with all company safety policies.
• Communicate with subcontractors, clients, and supervisors on a frequent basis regarding the progress and coordination of the project to ensure schedule adherence.
• Keep the manager/supervisor informed of all changes or impacts to the project.
• Provide the office with all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Provide instruction to laborers/hands regarding job assignments.
• Order and or pickup material to be used for jobs.
• Perform layout and installation of all equipment.
• Be involved in all job-related contractor meetings.
• Oversee crew and provide guidance and leadership.
• Available to work overtime and or/irregular business hours as requested.
• Facilitate and attend in-house training.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Provide a teamwork environment.
• Ability to use heavy equipment ( Skid Steer, Backhoe, Trencher, Etc..)

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as well as a background check
• Minimum 2 Years experience
• Strong understanding of company safety procedures and practices
• Good communication and effective interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under extreme environmental and weather conditions.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license. CDL Preferred
• Mechanical ability; and knowledge of equipment and heavy vehicle operation, maintenance, and repair.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be willing and able to work in a field environment in all weather conditions and noisy environments; Must have the ability to use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, moving materials, and manipulating things.
• Requires ability for sitting, standing, walking, lifting heavy materials, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs & ladders, balancing, stooping, kneeling, repeated bends, crawling, reaching high and low; this is a physically demanding position.
• Must be willing and able to work as needed; Travel to field required daily.
