Job Summary:

The Rig Welder will be responsible for performing welding tasks on various jobs. This role requires a high level of expertise in welding techniques, a strong understanding of safety protocols, and the ability to work in challenging environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in structure steel welding (carbon and stainless) and pipe welding, and a commitment to maintaining the integrity and safety of all welded structures and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding tasks on rig components, including pipelines, structural frameworks, and other metal parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to complete projects accurately.
• Conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain and repair welding equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the successful completion of projects.
• Adhere to project timelines and communicate progress with supervisors.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues related to welding processes and techniques.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in welding preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in welding, with a focus on rig welding.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Strong understanding of welding safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in challenging environments
• Valid welding certification (e.g., AWS, API) is required.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours as needed.

Locations: East Burney, Ca | Williams, Ca 

Pay: $25-35/hr (based on experience) 

Rig: Additional $15/hr for bringing your own rig 

Overtime Pay: Available due to extended shifts 

Hotel & Meal Reimbursement: $172 per day
