Project Manager

About the Role
As a Project Manager, you'll play a critical role in delivering high-quality software implementations. Reporting to the Director of Program Management, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, Developers, QA professionals, Sales, and Executive Leadership. This is a highly technical position that demands strong project management expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire and guide team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during software implementations, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Define project scope, manage tasks, monitor milestones, and oversee deliverables to ensure timely and successful outcomes.
- Develop and deliver client training sessions to ensure seamless adoption of solutions.
- Gather and document comprehensive business requirements, functioning as a subject matter expert.
- Coordinate efforts across functional teams to deliver top-notch solutions that align with client needs.
- Collaborate with Product Management to balance product vision with client expectations.
- Provide regular project status updates to executive leadership.
- Manage risks, issues, and changes using established processes.
- Plan and track project milestones while prioritizing and addressing bug reports.
- Facilitate team training to enhance project knowledge and execution.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and brings a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle. You should be adaptable, detail-oriented, and skilled at building strong relationships with clients and team members.
Required Skills & Experience
- In-depth knowledge of technology, including sFTP, APIs, file formats, unique GUIDs, integrations, and HTML.
- Proven experience implementing SaaS or enterprise software applications.
- A background in pharmaceutical, specialty pharmacy, or related industries is preferred.
- Direct experience consulting with external clients.
- Strong organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project).
- Experience with Agile software development is a plus.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience managing complex software projects, including client-facing initiatives.
