The Entry-Level Fundraiser/Sales Representative is responsible for building relationships with potential donors and customers, raising funds for a nonprofit organization. This role involves direct interaction with individuals, groups, and businesses to promote the organization's mission, products, or services, and achieve set fundraising/sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Donor or Customer Engagement:

    • Approach potential donors/customers through in-person, phone, or digital outreach.
    • Clearly communicate the mission of the organization or the value of the product/service.
    • Build rapport with individuals to encourage long-term support or repeat business.
  2. Fundraising/Sales Goals:

    • Achieve weekly or monthly fundraising or sales targets set by the organization.
    • Track and report performance metrics, including funds raised, donor acquisition, or sales closed.
  3. Event or Campaign Participation:

    • Participate in events, campaigns, or outreach programs to attract donors or customers.
    • Represent the organization or brand professionally and enthusiastically.
    • Assist in the setup and coordination of fundraising or sales events.
  4. Customer/Donor Relationship Management:

    • Follow up with donors or customers to thank them and nurture ongoing relationships.
    • Maintain accurate records of interactions, donations, or sales in the organization's CRM system.
  5. Team Collaboration:

    • Work with a team to strategize and implement effective outreach techniques.
    • Share feedback and ideas to improve fundraising or sales approaches.
    • Support teammates during high-demand periods or events.
  6. Learning and Development:

    • Participate in training sessions to improve knowledge of the organization’s mission or products/services.
    • Stay updated on trends and best practices in fundraising, sales, and marketing.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience:

    • No prior experience required; training provided.
    • Experience in customer service, sales, or volunteer roles is a plus.
  • Skills:

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Persuasive and enthusiastic demeanor.
    • Ability to handle objections professionally and remain positive.
    • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Personal Attributes:
