Job Details
We are seeking a skilled and driven Electrical Project Manager with hands-on experience in commercial construction. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical, fire protection, and HVAC systems, as well as the ability to lead projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, excels at building strong client relationships, and is always on the lookout for new opportunities to grow our business.
Responsibilities:
Assess project scope, costs, and resource requirements to provide accurate estimates.
Identify and allocate labor, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient project execution.
Create and manage project plans to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and achieve milestones.
Oversee field personnel and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations and alignment with project goals.
Track project progress to maintain accuracy, consistency, and compliance with construction standards, codes, and safety requirements.
Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships to build trust and secure future work opportunities.
Actively pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s portfolio and market presence.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in commercial and industrial construction projects.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, Accubid Classic, Primavera P6, and Bluebeam REVU.
Ability to work with field supervisors, craft/tradesmen, and union representatives.
Business development skills and ability to maintain professional conduct with clients and team members.
