Position Overview The Director of Health Information Management (HIM) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HIM department. This role involves developing and implementing departmental goals, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards, managing operations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, critical thinking abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of health information. Required Qualifications Education: Associate’s Degree or Graduate of a Program in Discipline (Required) Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred) Skills: Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to function effectively in a high-stress environment and take appropriate actions.
