Digital Verification Engineer 

Skyworks AI Solutions is at the forefront of audio and voice technology innovation with our analog system on chips (ASoCs), for applications such as smart speakers/microphones, wired/wireless headsets and intelligent gaming controllers. We are continuously growing our team to develop market specific ASoCs which combine breakthrough ultra-low power analog circuits, highly efficient power management and custom hardware accelerators for smart acoustic signal processing and AI features. Our proprietary technology achieves the highest level of integration in the industry and sets a new performance standard for low power consumption and minimal footprint. 

We are a team of world-class analog, digital and firmware designers committed to building the next generation of ASoCs. This position is for an experienced digital verification engineer interested in excellent personal and professional growth opportunities. 

Job Responsibilities

You will verify the functionality and performance of digital circuits for home audio. This will include embedded processors, wireless communication systems, audio processing cores, and serial communication systems. You will work closely with the circuit design team to demonstrate block-level and system-level functionality and performance. This will include developing test benches, test infrastructure, code for embedded processors, and post-processing code. 

In addition to simulation-based testing, your ability to use FPGAs in system-level verification, as well as your ability to use and automate test equipment, will greatly benefit our verification coverage. An important part of your role will be to develop reuse-able verification IP that supports a wider team in test development. 

Qualifications

• Multiple levels of qualifications and job experience will be considered. The minimum level of experience is 3+ years (BSEE) but can range to a Principal Engineer.
• Experience with system-level verification in ASICs 
• Experience in implementation with Verilog and System Verilog 
• Experience in post-processing with Python 
• Experience with embedded C/C++ code 
• Experience with UVM 
• Professional, open and highly self-motivated attitude

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $89,100 - $172,100 per year . Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others. Employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan, and certain roles are also eligible for additional awards, including recognition and stock.
