ETO Salary Schedule Range: - $ 62,523.27 - $118,446.05
JOB DESCRIPTION: High School CTE Business Education Teacher teaching personal finance, business communications, and preparing students with life after high school skills. This assignment will start after spring break, April 7 th , however, it may start anytime in March. This assignment will continue through the end of the school year.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: •Possess or willingness to pursue a Washington State Teaching Certificate
•Possess or willingness to pursue a Washington CTE Business Certification and follow CTE standards and expectations
•WSP/FBI fingerprint background clearance (fee paid by the employee)
•Demonstrates command of interpersonal communication skills with students, parents, and peers (oral and written)
•Familiar with state standards and training in effective use of assessment
•Successful teaching experience/practicum in a secondary and/or industry setting
•Regular attendance is an essential function of this position
•Ability to establish positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and community
•Ability support students with expanded leadership opportunities with Skills USA
REPORTS TO : Building Administrators, CTE Director
Teaching & Learning - Understand the Washington Science Technology and Computer Science Standards and establish clear learning targets for every lesson.
